What is AEO (Answer Engine Optimization)?

AEO structures your content so answer engines like Google's AI Overviews, ChatGPT and Perplexity cite your brand directly in their answers, driving qualified traffic without a click on a blue link.

What does an AEO agency do?

An AEO agency prepares your site so answer engines can quote it. That means structured data, clear question-and-answer content, and entity signals that tell the engine what your business is and who it serves. Your brand then appears inside AI answers instead of below them.

How is GEO different from SEO?

SEO earns rankings in traditional search results. GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) makes your brand the source that large language models quote when they generate answers.

How do I choose a GEO agency?

Pick a GEO agency that measures how often AI models name your brand across every major engine. Ask to see prompt-share tracking, sample citations, and the third-party work behind them. AEO Agency reports weekly on ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Perplexity so you know exactly where you stand.

Where do you take clients from?

AEO Agency is a US firm operating nationally. We take on brands across every state and every major metro, with category exclusivity applied per market.

How long until I see results?

Local SEO and AEO wins can appear within 30 to 90 days. Competitive organic and GEO authority typically compounds over 3 to 6 months.

We keep client records, contracts, and invoices for at least 7 years to satisfy tax and accounting obligations. Website analytics data collected via Google Analytics is retained for 14 months. When retention ends, we delete or anonymize the data.
